The Rainbow Trout Fly Box in Mahogany
The famed stretch of the Missouri River between Wolf Creek and Cascade Montana, has one of the heaviest populations of world-class rainbow trout in the lower 48. With our studio only 40 minutes away, getting out on this water often is a blessing and also humbling experience. The chatoyance of their silver-scaled bodies are represented masterfully, as we use mother of pearl, with inlaid details unlike any other wooden fly box on the market today.

Offered in walnut, tiger maple, cherry, mahogany, and zebra wood, each box features rare earth magnet closers capped in abalone shell and replaceable rippled foam hook inserts.

CARE:
This box has been finished with varnish and requires minimal care. We recommend not leaving the box exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time as it can alter the color of the box. If exposed to excess moisture, leave open to air-dry and apply a few drops of quality lubricating oil to each hinge.
