Big Hole Fly Rod Tube

A.L.’s favorite memory of the Big Hole River is one shared with many friends and even more fish! A unique brown trout was caught. Usually covered in spots, this brown trout had scales in a pattern striped like a zebra. Zebrawood was chosen to personify this memory and embody this unique fish tale.

Made from the finest hardwoods, metals, shell and leather available, these tubes will not only keep your favorite rod safe during travel but allow you to travel in style. Each case is made of eight staves, meticulously shaped and glued under pressure into an octagon. They are then mounted on a lathe and turned to a perfect cylinder, one at a time…by hand. Once coated with marine varnish, each case is polished to a buttery smooth finish, that beckons your touch. They can accommodate a 4 piece 10′ rod, with custom lengths (for longer rods) available as well.
