Yellowstone Fly Rod Tube

Black Cherry was chosen to represent the Yellowstone River series as it evokes the natural, distinctive red hue of the mountain ranges throughout Paradise Valley, outside of Livingston Montana. The Yellowstone is near and dear to A.L.’s heart, he floats it often and is continuously inspired by its grand views and rock features.

Made from the finest hardwoods, metals, shell and leather available, these tubes will not only keep your favorite rod safe during travel but allow you to travel in style. Each case is made of eight staves, meticulously shaped and glued under pressure into an octagon. They are then mounted on a lathe and turned to a perfect cylinder, one at a time…by hand. Once coated with marine varnish, each case is polished to a buttery smooth finish, that beckons your touch. They can accommodate a 4 piece 10′ rod, with custom lengths (for longer rods) available as well.
