Description

This set was inspired by the very tree that yielded the magnificent lumber that eventually became functional works of art. I opted to inlay a rendition of one of the tree’s branches, with leaves that are still actively on the stem and with others (in abalone shell) that are gently falling to the ground. A painstaking process, but one that yielded a very interesting piece and chairs that are not only pleasing to the eye but unmistakably comfortable.
